This improvising trio joins up veteran Chicago improvisers Rempis and Daisy, whose collaborations span decades, with young pianist Matt PIet. Although this is only the band's fourth concert, they've released two digital albums, including Cure For the Quotidian on Piet's Amalgam imprint, and Hit The Ground Running on Rempis' Aerophonic label. Proceeds form both records have gone to causes including Planned Parenthood of Illinois and Refugee One, perhaps a result of the trio's first meeting - the fateful day after the election of the current U.S. president.
